August 7th, 2025 became another significant date for Lyto Pictures with the theatrical release of Pamali: Tumbal, the continuation of the culturally rooted Pamali horror universe.
The film centers around a village thrown into chaos when several women suddenly disappear without a trace. Fear spreads quickly among the residents as rumors of dark rituals and ancient taboos begin to surface.
Determined to uncover the truth and find her missing mother, Putri (Keisya Levronka) ventures deep into a haunted forest. Her search leads her to an old, mysterious house hidden within the woods, a place that turns out to be inhabited by a terrifying supernatural entity. As she gets closer to the truth, Putri must confront horrifying secrets tied to ritual sacrifice and forbidden traditions that threaten her life.
The film is adapted from the third chapter of the popular game Pamali: The Little Devil by StoryTales Studio, further expanding the cinematic interpretation of the game’s dark folklore narrative.
Blending psychological tension with supernatural horror, Pamali: Tumbal explores the consequences of breaking ancestral beliefs and the deadly price of becoming a “tumbal.” With its darker atmosphere and intense narrative, the film further strengthens Lyto Pictures’ position in Indonesia’s horror film landscape.
